Manufacturing company in Kuils River, Cape Town requires Storeman with Matric / Grade 12 Certificate, tertiary qualification in Stores Control / Inventory Management and at least three years of experience in engineering stores management.
You must be computer literate (essential to be considered).
You will be responsible for ensuring stocks of the Engineering Spares and Maintenance Supplies are available at all times. You will further be responsible to:
Collate maintenance statistics on the computer
• Check Stocks & Reconcile on computer
• Follow up on spares orders on daily basis
• Issue goods as per requisition
• Conduct monthly stock take reconciliations
• Check fuel stocks on a weekly basis to ensure adequate supply to factory and boiler
• Ensure stores neat and tidy at all times
• Receiving goods on daily basis – ensuring that correct goods are supplied
You must have the ability to function under pressure, have excellent organization and computer skills.
Attention to detail is very important aspect of this position.
