National packaging company in Cape Town, Western Cape requires Project Engineer with Matric / Grade 12, National Diploma: Mechanical / Mechatronic / Industrial Engineering and 4 years’ experience as a Project Engineer preferably in Food Processing / FMCG manufacturing environment. You must be computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and 2D CAD, 3D CAD advantageous. You must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently and be able to travel both nationally and internationally.
You will be responsible to perform system design and control implementation of said designs within packaging / food processing environment, to provide technical leadership with regards to solutions offered, to complete projects to specific standards and criteria, within cost and to confirm technical feasibility of mechanical solutions as offered to customers in the packaging / food processing environment.
