Leading plastics packaging company requires a qualified Millwright (or Electrician with mechanical skills) who has experience on plastic injection moulding machines, for their factory in Cape Town. Excellent opportunity for growth.

Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12 and trade test certificate as Millwright or Electrician

Relevant experience in plastic injection moulding

5 years post qualification manufacturing production experience

Solid hydraulic and pneumatic skills

Able to run a maintenance program, continuous improvements and execute

Self-motivated, energetic and ability to motivate others

Own transport

Key Performance Areas:

Maintenance, servicing, breakdowns, fault finding

Assisting in planning of maintenance activities

Technical and process developments and improvements

Assisting with establishing the budget for spares expenses and equipment

Controlling spares usage and costs

Adhering to ISO standards, safety procedures, housekeeping
